Well Being

We focus on well-being by providing a safe and supportive environment where each child is valued and respected.

Our philosophy

We embrace our students with empathy, respect their unique abilities and learning styles, encourage them to think critically and foster a love of lifelong learning.

Empowering young minds

Building trust in yourself is the pre-requisite to learning anything. As teachers, we believe in students even when they don't believe in themselves. The main learning outcomes of every lesson we teach are for students to recognize their gifts, see their unlimited potential and embrace the journey through what is unfamiliar for bigger breakthroughs on the other side.

Building strong relationships

Every student success story begins with a strong relationship of trust, honesty and compassion. Students need to know they're seen, heard, valued and cared for before they trust someone to guide them on their learning journey. Every child has something unique they can bring to the group that no one else has. While we incorporate these gifts into lesson planning and constructive feedback, our main focus is to ensure students know their uniqueness is a gift to everyone else.

Our teachers

Our team of dedicated and caring teachers who strive to create a nurturing learning environment for all our students.

This school has provided our daughter not only a safe but also a positive and fun filled learning environment that she enjoys very much. The hands-on approach to learning, experimenting and problem solving is tremendous. The teachers go above and beyond to bring experiences to life and the small class sizes help to focus on each child and support their learning. The school focus is not only academics but also teaches emotional intelligence, music, languages and being a good world citizen and this is something we love and value.

Kris

Before Michael, my son was shy, felt alone, didn't excel at all in school. However when introduced to Michael my son excelled at school one to two grades above his level in less than six months which was astounding. Michael gave me daily and weekly updates so I can understand what my son was learning and the issues he was having. Michael is an amazing teacher and I am truly grateful for him teaching my son. I strongly recommend him for any teaching role.

Jaime

Michael takes the time to connect and build personal relationships with the children and families he works with. He is patient, flexible and  personalizes each lesson to meet the needs of the child. My kids have grown and learned so much from working with him. I don’t know what we’d ever do without him!

Very Happy Parent

I have an 8-year-old daughter attending the school since last September.  The development and advancement I’ve observed in my daughter is amazing & exciting. She has an attitude of fun & interesting toward school & learning.  She approaches new situations and opportunities with a sense of curiosity and growth. I wouldn’t dream of sending my daughter anywhere else. Thank you Julie & Team.

This school has been such a life saver for our family. We wanted to have a more unique, customized experience and the teachers at this school have been incredibly flexible to our needs. They accomodated the extra care my son needed when he started to have health issues which we so appreciated. Also, they are so great at providing an environment where every child can flourish. My kids have been at this school from the beginning (3rd year now!) and we love it so much! Both of my kids quickly learned to read in kindergarten thanks to the one-on-one attention they get from the teacher. We wanted a more structured homeschool pod and we couldnt have asked for more! All the benefits of a homeschool pod but also all the best parts of a structured education. The teachers are so caring and passionate and they put so much into making this school such a special place. Its not just a school, but a community! We feel so grateful to be a part of it!

Enrolling our son in this school, was by far one of the best decisions we have ever made. The small size, and one on one time has been extremely beneficial. He has come so far in just a small amount of time. We have friends that have children the same age in public school. They can not believe the difference in what our son is learning vs their children. His reading and math skills are far more advanced than I could have ever imagined! He loves going to school. Talks about centres and all the amazing field trips he gets to go on. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to be able to learn and grow at their own pace. He is not held back, and the teachers are willing to take his learning as far as he wants.
